Me
- I'm
Chris Krik Young. My music studio is based
in Grangetown, Cardiff. I play Guitar, bass and keyboards.
- I have
created sound design and music
for 4 short films and two full length films, and my songs
have achieved a fair amount of commercial radio play including
Radio 1, Radio 6 music, Kiss FM, Galaxy
101, Radio 2, Radio Cardiff and
Radio Wales.
- I have produced and written a variety of musical genres, from classic rock to heavy funk, electro, house music, acoustic folk and Bhangra.
- I also
work as a producer, song writer and performer and love to
collaborate on projects. No project is too big or small
for Krik Music
- I
have just completed music score and sound design for feature
film "bad company" for Sparkler Productions
- Over
the last five years I have performed at the Glastonbury
dance tent, shared the bill with the Sissor
Sisters, Unkle Jam, Beverley Night, The Egg, Kosheen, Subsource
and played hundreds of gigs around the U.K. as well as festivals
including the Small Nations Festival and The Big Weekend.
- I have
an MSc In Advanced Music Production.
