About Me

• I'm Chris Young, aka Krik. My post production studio is based in Grangetown, Cardiff. I have a huge passion for music.

• I am mainly a guitarist but I also play bass, keys and sing. I write songs and compose music and sound scapes for performance, publishers, film, media and TV.

• I have created music videos, sound design and music for 3 short films and two full length films, one starring Johnathon Morris and my songs have achieved a fair amount of commercial radio play including Radio 1, kiss FM, Galaxy 101, Radio Wales and Radio 2.
  
  
• I am currently working on a short film for ITV Wales "The girl who swung too high", a short film and a full length feature film for sparkle productions

• I have access to larger commercial studios whenever required and have worked closely with classical and jazz musicians and composers, electronica artists, film makers, dance producers and music video producers.

• Over the last five years I have performed at the Glastonbury dance tent, shared the bill with the Sissor Sisters, Unkle Jam, Beverley Night, The Egg, Kosheen, Subsource and played hundreds of gigs around the U.K. as well as festivals including the Small Nations Festival and The Big Weekend.

• I am currently studying an MSc/MA In Advanced Music Production.

• Currently in the band "The Rhythm Method" Playing around the UK, scheduled for a UK tour with "The Infomatics" In Novemeber.
